Yes, it was while browsing the user manual that I discovered that there was an AC adapter.

But I think it will not be useful, I have my HP-71B for two years now and I had never needed to change the batteries which were those installed by the previous owner.

No, my next investment for my HP-71B will be to take advantage of its HP-IL module to connect it to today's machines.
