The difference was that the EX had the S to D button to give an approximate/decimal answer, which the CW replaced with the format menu. EXE and approximately equals operate identically: they perform the currently entered calculation, with the difference being the answer format. It's consistent design, which is usually a good thing. Personally, I think the format button should have been the S/D button, with the format button's functionality being behind a shifted press. |
