That is a shame. I really like the fx-991EX and really don't like the fx-991CW. I guess for this category and $20 price range in the U.S., I would have to pick the TI-36X Pro although I never did warm up to its multi-press function selection keys. I do wish TI would update the 12 year old design of the TI-36X Pro for the U.S. market. There is the newer TI-30X Pro MathPrint but it costs about twice what the TI-36X Pro does in the U.S. ($42 vs $21).

Edit: For that $42 price I can buy a Casio fx-9750GIII which has graphing, programming in BASIC & Python, more RAM, Flash memory, USB connectivity and with KhiCAS installed, a very capable CAS!

Edit2: The Casio fx-9750GIII often sells for less than $30 USD new on eBay. That is a lot of functionality for the price.
