I do not have any formal electrical or mechanical education/background so would not be able to repair these. My background in in software. I will leave the repairs up to the experts in this area. I know the TI-59 card readers are easier to repair than the SR-52 as far as the gummy wheel. You can find the TI-59 gummy wheel repair kits on Ebay.
