Thanks Bob, it’s very nice to have some background history, also. That’s probably because the 71b didn’t sell as the 41. I wonder how much man hours work it took to make an OS as the 71b, may it would explain why they dropped the debugger.

Indeed, powerful and reserved for extreme situations! It worked on my case, thank you. The ALARMLEX with SETALARM also execute commands from strings but that’s not as clean as your code. The JPC seems to be a ‘must have’ ROM (at least for me).
