The machine I'm using right now is my own build from early 2014, with an ASUS Z87 PRO motherboard, Intel i5-4670K, Crucial 2x8GB DDR3 and a GeForce GTX 770. My startup drive is a Crucial M500 480GB SSD and I currently have four Western Digital 8TB white label 5400rpm drives installed for bulk storage. My main laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad T410 equipped with a SDR, and I have a Dell D630 laptop in the hardware closet that runs the webserver. The TV computer is an Intel NUC D34010WYK in a modified Akasa fanless heatsink enclosure. Including the wife's stuff and one hand-me-down potato for each kid, there are currently 10 PCs running on my network. My big switch is a D-Link DGS-1224T, and everything is on physical ethernet.
