1. Because it is basically useless for numerical calculations.
2. Causes much more memory to be used for no benefit. (think matrices and other items with potentially thousands of numbers) 3. Why aren't all computers 1024 bits now? Would make really long numbers possible... TW Although I work for HP, the views and opinions I post here are my own. |
