REPACKAGE HP 19B-II TO SOLVE BATTERY DOOR PROBLEM
Has anyone come up with plans to repackage the HP 19B-II? I have one with the pretty crappy battery door on the side. While the calculator is functional, the battery door design means that the calculator is too fragile to use any more. If I continue to use it, it will quickly get to the stage where the battery door can no longer be used.
These calculators are just too good to let this design problem consign them to the dustbin. Are there any solutions out there? Regards, Kim |

Here's some people's solutions to the problem:
(The 28S has the same case design as the 19BII) http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-5673.html http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/...467#217467 -Bart- |

Thank you. I will try to track down aj04062 to see if he has any remaining widgets to sell. It looks like a good solution.
