HP85 A
Restoration project.
Anybody know of a replacement or rebuild of the thermal print head used on vintage HP 85 calculator/computer. Everything else works fine including the tape drive. However the print head does not ohm out so appears to be blown.

Please advise.

Do you have the HP-85 service manual? If not, it's at

http://www.hpmuseum.net/collection_document.php

The HP part number is 00085-60923 and it's available at
