Yet another 35s review....
My thoughts HP-35s after a month of use.

My biggest frustration:
Illogical key mappings – Mathematical functions+inverses should have been consistent on keys – this REALLY annoys me and makes me think who designed the key mappings, not a mathematician.. nor anyone with even basic College level Math!

Other:
Displays both X and Y registers nice
LCD not enough contrast but OK most of the time, still not great
Useless Matrices support - don't use this for Linear Algebra courses...
Poor Complex Number support... horrible compared to the 15C
Seems quite sluggish (not much faster than the 15C)
Slightly mushy keyboard but almost HP “feel” in a kind of discounted way, better than most TI/Casio
I noticed computes beyond 69! (May not be a surprise for some but the first calc I have owned that could do this) - so the range is pretty good - not that I'd need it
STO shifted annoying, definitely should have been a separate key
Too many useless conversion functions on key mappings that could have been replaced with decent stuff
Not flash upgradeable (but nor is the 15C but it didn’t need to be!)
No PC connectivity (nor 15C, but my DM-15L does)
Too light... (for my liking)

HP-28S (1988 US model), DM41X (2020)
