Currently Manufactured RPN Calculators
What RPN calculators are currently being manufactured and their default mode is RPN? This doesn’t include applications that run on a computer or a phone.

For example the HP Prime supports RPN but that is not the default mode.

I can think of the following:
HP-35S, HP-12C.
Swiss Micros DM-1x and 4x series.

12C Platinum?

I've never opened a new one so am not 100% sure, but I assume (and hope) the 12CP defaults to RPN, and not Algebraic. It is RPN after a full reset, so I assume it is the same for initial power-on (aka default mode).

I would assume as well after looking at the manual (page 86).

I did not know about these! Very interesting, do they seem to be targeted towards test and measurement control?

RE: Currently Manufactured RPN Calculators
I’m adding the Victor V12 financial calculator but can’t tell what mode it defaults to as it supports both Algebraic entry and RPN. I’m also unsure if it is still in production.

No, https://www.victortech.com/calculators

Although I can find one or two suppliers who still have stock :-)

For the RIP department let's add another clone: the Aurora FN1000.

RE: Currently Manufactured RPN Calculators
The Compucessory 28956 and Victor V12 can be purchased new or new old stock? (NOS) on Amazon or The Auction Site (TAS).

My conclusion is that every currently manufactured RPN calculator is HP or patterned after a particular HP model.

Should the 43s come into production, would it be patterned after an HP calculator or would you consider it to be an independent design?

RE: Currently Manufactured RPN Calculators
Compucessory 28956, all HP-12C Platinum models (prob. HP-12C Prestige, too)
can be switched between ALG & RPN mode.

These models remember the mode they have been in when turned off
and will start in the same mode when turned on again.
Therefore - IMHO - a default RPN-mode does not play such
an important role as one might think at first glance.

The HP-12c models including the 30th Anniversary Edition,
the Aurora FN1000 and the SwissMicros DM-1x are RPN-only.

Further RPN-calculators still built today: SwissMicros DM-42

Honorably mentioned: WP 34s

Non-HP RPN-calculators of the past:
Omron SR12, Privileg SR-54NC, Elektronika MK-61 ...

I would say it certainly was inspired by the 34C and 42S (among others) but that said, I still consider it an independent design, that goes well beyond what the 42S could do.
