RE: Has anyone heard from Dieter?
It is very sad to hear Dieter has passed away. I always enjoyed reading his post.
I had no idea he worked in a photo store in Münster which I walked past a couple of times. RIP Dieter. |

RE: Has anyone heard from Dieter?
Very sad that Dieter is pass away. He is very nice guy and very serious in helping people out in this forum group.
The one very cool program he help make possible on my treat is the "Arithmetic with Fraction" program on HP-12C with limited programming space he be able to squeeze it in and used 90 lines, very incredible !!! This can be found here on Post: #5 https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-11410.html RIP Gamo |

RE: Has anyone heard from Dieter?
Damn, that's a real bummer. He was always a big help with my incessant questions about TVM formulas. (Not that I'm only sad to have lost a resource or something, just that the breadth of his contributions was very far-reaching.)

Sad indeed, and young! Dieter was always the consummate teacher, never condescending.

RE: Has anyone heard from Dieter?
I will miss Dieter's comments and fine-tuning on some of the algorithms I posted. He often helped make them better and I appreciated that.
Dieter, you will be missed! Namir |

RE: Has anyone heard from Dieter?
I really liked Dieter's contributions. How sad. And only 54 ! May he rest in peace.
Thanks you rprosperi to bring attention to the matter. On virtual forums one may not notice when people disappear. Wikis are great, Contribute :) |

What a shame. When I joined the forum, Dieter was the first person to improve and comment on my code. He was always so friendly and professional.

Dieter was kind enough to comment on my very first RPN prog, he seemed like a very helpful chap. Very sad.
