Condition-grading criteria for HP calcs?

In the buyer's guide HP spice calculators are destiguished between "Plastic keyboard" and "Metal keyboard".
I have no idea what that means ... Anybody knows? Explanation would be great.

I would guess the “metal” are the original design; the “plastic” the re-designed ones with the chips soldered?
