I'd like it for historical purposes! Yes! it has 2.1.14285 which is the buggy one. Thanks! Edit: I spoke too soon. Even though the link shows the old version, you get the new version when you actually download from the link. Tom L Cui bono? |

However when I download from the above link, I get a zip file named: HP_Prime_Calculator_Firmware_20191022 And the PRIME_APP.DAT file date modified is 22/10/2019 On the other side, when I download the new version from http://www.hpcalc.org/prime/beta/, what I get is a zip file named: HP_Prime_Calculator_Firmware_20191028 and the PRIME_APP.DAT file date modified is 28/10/2019. So they don't seem to be identical, at least looking to the "date modified". Maybe in the meantime someone can test the download to be sure. Jose Mesquita RadioMuseum.org member |

If you are logged into hpcalc.org (after setting up an account), you can download old versions of pretty much every program that ever existed on my site, so you can get the previous ROM release that way if you want. Logging in also allows you to browse the contents of zip files without downloading the whole archive, too.

And, can you announce when the new version is released? I don't have it on my iPhone at the moment and want to get it when the new version comes out.

Cosmetic Bug.
I found a small cosmetic bug on my G2 with this latest beta. If your battery is low, you're on the plot screen of the function app, then put your calculator into coma mode, then turn it back on. The low battery prompt will appear like normal, but when you dismiss it, it leaves artifacts where the prompt was. It can be easily fixed by going to the home screen then back into the plot view but I thought it was worth mentioning.

When I use command domain(1/sqrt(9-x^2))
- it gives x>=-3 AND 3<=x and x<>-3AND x<> 3 which is verbose result. It should be x>-3, ANd 3<x - which is more readable. - when simplifying the expression, it gives wrong result - x> -3 AND 3 > x. |

The 2.1.14181 (2018-10-16) firmware gives an initial result of x >= -3 AND x <=3 AND x <> -3 AND x <> 3, and simplifies it to x >= -3 AND 3 >= x, which seems incorrect. (I guess it just removes single points, even though they are at the extremities of the set.) — Ian Abbott |

Looks like there was a memory leak deep down in the "image format conversion" that was no longer releasing the image after the UI layer no longer needed it. Apple must have changed something somewhere along the way. Anyway... fixed and no longer a problem. Thanks to all who pointed this one out.
