WP 34S Oddity
Version 34S 3.3 3774 When solving for root of e^(2*x) -3-ln(2*x +1), the physical calculator screen turns off (program crash?). When I turn the calculator back on, it has the correct solution ~.6931 and appears correct out to many more digits.

RE: WP 34S Oddity
I'd suspect batteries.

RE: WP 34S Oddity
I’ll check it out...it was reporting 2.9V, worked on solving for the root of e^x -2 normally...I’ll try it out on slowly converging integrals...thanks!

RE: WP 34S Oddity
Just tried integral of 5 root (x-1) from 0 to 33. This converges very slowly, and the physical calculator plodded through for as long as I wished, yet on integral that I first mentioned, shuts calculator off almost immediately, but if powered back on, the correct answer is displayed. Odd!

RE: WP 34S Oddity
Correction...the slow converging integral from 0 to 33 is 1/(5 root (x-1)).
