RE: ThinkJet 2225B battery pack question
Hi all,
If the intention is to have a mains powered, HP-IL compatible thinkjet printer, rather than trying to get the battery pack of the 2225B working you could use a 2225A. The A version is AC powered and like the B version is HP-IL based. The HPIB interface on the A model is really an HP-IL to HP-IB bridge. Note however that the HP-IL transformers (?) and connector are missing so you will need to improvise there. Cheers Vassilis http://www.series80.org BTW the ThinkJet paper is a great find, as this paper produces markedly better quality than standard fan-fold. |

It really is dramatically better, but at $ 0.0467 / page (if you're in the US, much more if not) you had better really NEED a lot of it. --Bob Prosperi |
