The following link link is a scan of issue #59 of the EduCalc catalog from 1993 (courtesy of Jeff). There at a large number of HP-48SX books starting on page 59. Some of them may not be in this list.

Looking at these catalogs brings back a lot of fond memories. I ordered a lot of books from EduCalc and even visited the store occasionally. I went there in 1991 to buy my HP-48 SX and I believe Richard himself showed me that it had the latest ROM version (at the time). Check out the Goodies Disks on page 57. I bought them all. Available on 5-1/4" IBM format floppies!

thank you very much. to prepare the list i gave a look at an old Educalc catalogue. Not the last ones. i will check them.
I think i received only 3 or 4 of these Educalc catalogues in the 90s. it was very difficult to have them in Italy.

For sure in these catalogues the foreign language books were missing. I am very happy to discover that France produced a lot of books i wasn't aware of.

Also a portughese one and i personally found an italian one.

thanks for giving me the possibility to update the list. the 48 family is the series of calculators i am most attached to. if it happens to find some new books please do not hesitate to drop a note to this thread.

For what it is worth, full scans of all the EduCALC catalogs from 1980 through 1997 up to issue #75 (with the exception of issues #9 and #13, which are still being sought) along with a five-way, 272-page index of all the catalog entries is available on the PPC Calculator Archive. Hello Jake,
thank you very much for the proposal. i got most of the catalogues in 2017 when i attended to the HHC conference in Nashville.

i found also the Educalc catalogue were i won the prize and i received a hp32sII I still use..

i will look at them to find other books for the 48 family.

While we are at it..

Enclosed is my HP Calculator Bibliography with Notes as of November 24, 2019. The Bibliography contains 4694 entries sorted into the categories once used by the HP User Library.

Searching for "HP 48" should find you most of the reference cited above in this thread and many others.

Since November I have added some more books and articles, including references to about 100 Russian books. Currently the Bibliography is at about 5000 entries. I am working to find a repository which would make the publication of the Bibliography and updates easier.

Many thanks to SlideRule who kept me busy with his great catches.

As indicated before, the main limitation of the Bibliography are my language limitations. There must be tons of articles in Spanish, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese etc. which I would not know (or even recognize).

Please let me know in case you have additions and / or corrections.

The book can be found e.g. on Page 60 of the EduCalc Catalog 58. According to Jake's Index the book was listed in catalogs 51 to 63, i.e from 1991 to 1994.

I have not seen a PDF-copy of this book anywhere.

I have a like new copy of this book. I don't have a good scanner or time to scan it but I would send it to a member of this board if they wanted to scan it and make it available to the community, and provided it would be returned to me afterward. The print quality of this book is not great, and some manual cleanup will probably be required to make a good PDF.

I have a scanner. However, while my copy of the book is complete, it was also well-loved by my then 18-year-old self back in 1992. This includes some hand written pencil notes. I could scan mine for posterity but it won't be the best copy out there.

What are other folks thoughts on this?

Hello I generally do not pay attention to have written notes.

Sometimes it happens that these hand made notes correct some print errors and sometimes useful information.

So, To me this is not a problem.
