Springs for HP 41 battery holder
Hi, there's a company in Barcelona, Spain selling springs on eBay. Has anyone bought from them? Does anyone know of someone in the US or Canada that has them?

The seller is José González Divasson who runs http://thecalculatorstore.com. (Indeed, all the seller's items appear there.) I've never bought anything from them personally, but I've never seen any complaints about them on this site, only recommendations.

I have some (from a friend's group purchase) and they fit and work perfectly.

TheCalculatorStore.com and José are well known here and come highly recommended; though not cheap (when including shipping to USA) all items are high quality and have been tested and proven.

By "...does anyone... have them?" if you mean does anyone here sell them, then no, no sellers with these same springs have been found, or at least not reported.

There are many similar style springs available from sellers on eBay; they can be made to work with a little effort (they are a bit too large to fit in the plastic holder) but they don't look original and can be annoying. These same copper (looking) springs work fine in a Woodstock case, but at least for me are not satisfying for use in a 41.

Yes, a while ago I bought some of the spings from him. Everything went fine.
The spring surface is not as shiny as the original springs, but that's no problem IMHO:-)

Nope. These are the ones that I mentioned don't fit very well. Both the size (coil base diameter) and shape don't fit right. By shape, what I mean is the 'bar' that connects the 2 coils at the base of the original springs connects diagonally, while on these the bar is straight.

These can be made to work (I have some of these too) with some work but the result isn't quite right. And who wants to use a 41 with batteries that aren't quite right.
