HP 15C gone from Google Play?
I can't find the official HP15C emulator anymore on Google Play, is it somehow gone? The 12C is still there. Opening the link directly (https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...hp.hp15c15) shows me a not found.

If it is removed, does anyone here know the reason why?

You're right, it's not showing up, while the 12C and 12C Platinum apps by HP still are.
The 15C app in the iOS App Store is still there...

The irritating thing is that I paid $14.99 to HP for the HP15c app on iOS a few years ago. But now the app won't open and it says that the app needs to be updated by the developer to work on this version of iOS. And yet I see that HP is selling this same app on the Apple website for $14.99! It doesn't have an option to update the HP15c app that I paid for.

I read a lot of complains about the Android version too on newer Android versions, but it got updated not too long ago and I remember the developers posting on this forum.

So for a 15C on my Android phone there are not that much options and they all have issues:
  • Use PockEmul. However, that gives a huge overhead and complicated startup procedure.
  • Get Go15c. Abandonwere. Might need some work to get it running on newer Android versions though (thanks for the tip to use One HandOperation), and it remains to be seen how long this will work.
  • Get the official HP version from a place on the internet that doesn't care about copyrights. I found such places, but they deliver only an old version 1.1.6. It runs fine on all my devices but for how long?
  • Use Vicinno's version. Works but looks ugly. And has not been updated since 2013 so it might also be abandonware.
  • Use the AV media group version. This one got bad reviews and I've never tried it.

Mine seems to be working fine on iOS 14.2 on iPhone and iPad, though it doesn't properly fit the iPhone screen so I think that would have to be fixed for any update to be approved.

I use retro15c on iOS:
https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/retro-15c/id583559000

it’s free but it doesn’t work right on ios14. as long as you don’t press MEM, it’s ok.

RE: HP 15C gone from Google Play?
I am happy to report the 15c app is back in Google Play, with a new version 1.7.3 (together with the Prime app). Now I get an unknown error when I try to buy it so I'm still stuck with the older version I found on a pirate site but at least HP is working on it again.

Had already purchased it. It just updated recently.
The What's new notice didn't say much.

Tim confirmed (somewhere...) that the new builds have functional parity with the last releases, just built using updated tool chains, to establish a baseline for comparison of upcoming changes. So, they are coming...

RE: HP 15C gone from Google Play?
OK,I was finally able to buy it. The version I had had native libraries for armv6 in the apk, the new one different ones for armv7 and 8 (and x86 / x64), which should give a (small?) performance boost in calculations.

And perhaps more importantly, 64-bit native code has been required for new apps and updates since August 2019, and will become a requirement for existing apps starting August of this year.
