hp prime g2 firmware mirror?

Is there another site for the may 5th hp prime g2 firmare besides the http://ftp.ftp.hp.com...

I found one link that looks like it is for the g1 model.

Later, I found the torproject internet browser worked directly with the ftp link..no need
to change the front to http or https.

The only link I know of is

Out of curiosity why do you need a different link? The ftp is not in use and has not been a long time. Just do the HTTPS and you get the file...

Chrome and Edge can't use an ftp link.

You don't need internet browser for ftp. File Explorer on Windows is sufficient and I think Finder on Mac works too.

That is the file pulling the data with the updates. Use that to build yourself a link and download from the official source. Any browser unless it blocks https or hp.com will open it.

Most of the internet browsers present an unusable web page which have unusable
file name links--the only exception is the tor project internet browser.

File Explorer works fine for me, the same as it always has. What is "the peer blocking program"? If it's part of your security software, simply disable it when contacting hp's site.

The blocking of "ftp://ftp.hp.com" appears to be caused by my custom router settings,
after trying various on/off settings of my security software, hosts file, etc.

I have no need for network sharing, teams, peer to peer software, etc in windows.

I will continue to access the ftp site via the tor project internet browser ...
