My pardons that this reply is a wee bit late, but in case someone else happens upon a free/cheap HP-75... I just picked one on the Bay for US$60 on a whim.

By itself, sure, a desktop clock/calendar is an obvious answer for any programable device with an alpha/numeric display. After a quick look at the owner's manual, it appears you could use the DISP command to make a usable Tetris clone.

If you were willing to invest a few more coins, a PIL-Box to get data to/from a PC/Mac/Linux system is handy, and the PIL-IO adds digital i/o and a serial link to talk to Arduinos, Raspberry Pi's, or any number of other devices that can talk to a computer.

RE: HP-75C: use in 2021?
I would use it in the kitchen, to cut the bread on it. Big enough.

Yes. It cannot be done probably on the ipad of the family member. It means you would indicate the advantage of HP75 in comparison to ipad?
:-)

You could do what I have done with my 71B.
Connect to pilbox, write a program to calculate coordinates for component placement on a PCB, print the output via pillbox to the PC. Copy the output and paste into EAGLE, watch your components being placed. Smile
