Thanks for the tip on PockEmul Steve, when I've searched in the past, I've come up with nowt. As for Emu50g, I've tried it in the past and it's still a little on the sluggish side. But I'm super fussy with emulators. If I can't thumb type at pace, my patience doesn't take long to spill over into deep frustration.

Sadly, PocketEmul only contains a fraction of the emulations that are available with the Android version. Most importantly, it lacks the Sharp final generation emulations inclusive of the PC-E500S, which is probably the most full-featured "Pocket PC" product over the years (especially its Basic implementation) the G850VS is probably the better hardware for assembly language stuff, but I'm mainly interested in Basic.
