Introduction to RPN

Is there a really _short_ introduction to the classic 4 level stack RPN version (Woodstock/Spice) out there I can use for a beginner (who has a very limited attention span)...

The one on this site is rather over long for this purpose!

I would recommend the operator's manual for the hp35.

In this site you can find a very nice introduction for RPN (reverse polish notation) for HP calculators http://holyjoe.org/hp/RPN_tutorial.pdf
It is 32 pages long, but.........in full colors with nice and practical examples for all system capabilities.

There are also emulators around that may help with the explanation.

The one here has all the internal registers exposed.

Consider checking out any of the Grapevine Books: Easy Course in Programming... either the 11C/15C, 41, 42s ones will have a great explanation on RPN and the stack. Even if it is not your specific model, the examples of stack operation are explained well.

I agree in highly recommending the original HP35 manual. It is short/concise and to the point.

[And is historically significant.]
