Calculator forensics results for HP 300S?
If you have an HP 300S and wouldn't mind doing this test http://www.rskey.org/~mwsebastian/miscprj/results.htm and posting your results here then I say thank you.

It's a one liner in degrees mode:
Code:
arcsin (arccos (arctan (tan (cos (sin (9) ) ) ) ) )

In an earlier thread Stefan (haven't seen him in a while btw) posted that he suspects the HP 300S is the same as the Casio 991DE. It would be interesting to see if the results from the HP 300S match up with HP results or Casio results, etc.

It ain't OVER 'till it's 2 PICK

On the 300S the result is 9.000000001
On the 300S+ the result is 9.000000001

Thanks. Is that the full display precision? Many Casios on the results page show 15 digits.

That's what I am seeing, I have not found any key that will show mantissa.

Thank you. In that case this doesn't match anything on rskey's results page.

You can get the other digits by subtracting 9 from your answer. For example, on the HP 10s I get 9.000000002124:

sin-1 cos-1 tan-1 tan cos sin 9 = --> 9.000000002

Ans-9 = --> 2.124x10^-09

I reread the manual, it's says that internal calculation is done with 15 digits but shows only 10 and I still not found any way to show the internal 15 digits Sad
