Using HP 50g connectivity kit to connect HP 48GX to Windows 10
Has anyone being able to get the HP 50g connectivity kit to connect to HP 48GX on Windows 10?

If so, what USB to serial adapter was used? (Does it matter? I have a IOGear GUC232A serial to USB adapter attached to my laptop.)

Although I have being able to connect my HP 50g using the USB port, the HP 48GX does not work with my serial to USB adapter.

Well I have got a HP 49G to connect via a (FTDI based) USB serial adaptor (and also with a PCI express serial adaptor), so I guess 48GX should work too.

I think I had to run the connectivity kit (Conn4x) as administrator.

RE: Using HP 50g connectivity kit to connect HP 48GX to Windows 10
Regarding my problem of connecting my HP 48GX to conn4x, I found that my GUC232A Usb to serial adapter is not working. When I acquired another USB to Serial adapter, the Detech DT-5011, which uses the FTDI chipset, I was able to connect with my HP 48GX.
