That caught my eye too, and I was trying to figure it out. Seems like they just resurfaced a 2017 hackday.io project for some reason?
The project status still shows: Quote:This project was created on 06/24/2017 and last updated 4 years ago. Looks like a nice job, and I'm interested because I've got one of those printer modules, but it doesn't appear the software has ever been posted. |

Individual people can create their own projects on hackaday.io and the blog writers will go through and look for projects to feature and write about. So occasionally you see an older project get a blog story as the blog writers need to have something to write about.
