New 3D latch for HP41 card readers

Hi,

when I have to repair a card reader I often find the latch and spring are broken. In most cases I have to glue them to keep it in place or the axisi is broken. I find this could be a good candidate for 3D part design, integrating the spring with the latch.

I have transmitted José González and he is now developing the part. Maybe it can be of help for future repairs...

I find that 3D printing has provided a powerful tool for designing spare parts. If you review, it is possible to repair any issue of the HP41 (and there are many!) with 3D parts. Probably the display repair is now the only dead end point.
