Memories section of website
What happened to the "Memories" section that was linked on the front page (http://hpmuseum.org/) where people gave their stories of HP calculators? Even a web search of the site using key words in the title of mine there does not turn up anything.

RE: Memories section of website
I found it, at http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/...mories.cgi , but it was from a record of the link I had left elsewhere. It is not linked on the front page anymore as far as I can find. Can someone please fix that.

RE: Memories section of website
The link to the Memories Forum is still at the top of the Old HP Forum and Old Article Forum pages, but as we don't go there anymore it may be good to add it to the Museum home page.

RE: Memories section of website
Beat me to it! I was just about to post a link. I also don't see a way to add a new entry to the memories forum. Attempting to do so directs you to use the new forum.

I think it was in the orange section too. I wonder if Dave was planning to add a memories section to these new fora like he did with the articles area, but it somehow fell through the cracks. -katie |

I was thinking about it, but much of the early reaction to the new forum was people complaining about there being too many sections - too fragmented - too "different?" from the old forum. So I have avoided creating any more sub forums. However, if people are now used to the new forum and want additional sections, they could be added. |

RE: Memories section of website
Regardless, please put the link to the memories section back in the orange section on the right of the front page.
P.S.: I have been wanting to update my post there but have been unable, with old or new passwords. http://WilsonMinesCo.com (Lots of HP-41 links at the bottom of the links page, at http://wilsonminesco.com/links.html#hp41 ) |
