HP Slide-Rule from 1971
Please see attached 2 pictures of a Hewlett Packard slide rule from 1971.
It has a HP product/part code of 5952-2516 but it is in fact made by the Perrygraf division Nashua Corp.
It works our Vector Impedance on one side and on the other side gives reactances of Capacitors and Inductors against frequency.
I obtained this SlideRule when I worked for HP New Zealand many moons ago and I carried on using it quite often to do fast workouts of Capactive Reactance for many years. It was faster than use a calc.
I have a suspicion this slide rule may have been supplied with one of the Instruments of the time.
So, is this piece of cardboard considered to be a HP calculator , or not ??

RE: HP Slide-Rule from 1971
There was an older thread with similar slide rules: Nice finding in a drawer.
Unfortunately the links to the pictures are broken.

I used the idea for a talk about PostScript I gave at the Allschwil Meeting 2018.

The picture is in the attached zip file: allschwil-meeting-2018.zip

But I upload it here as well:

It's clearly one of their later model calculators. You can tell from the unopenable, riveted construction. :-)

I love those special purpose slide rules...nice find and thanks for posting!

(sigh!)
Now I want one for my slide-rule collection!

I'd be interested if someone were to make one, sort of like the circular slide-rule that fits in a CD jewel case.

RE: HP Slide-Rule from 1971
Seems to be very similar in functionality to the Pickett Cleveland Electronics metal slide rule.
