RE: [WP 31S v1.2] Manual
My manuals arrived a couple of days ago. Thanks a lot!
I really like them and so did my dad - which is why I now need to order another set.
So, please put me on the list for both WP 31S and WP 34S manual again.

Harald

Hello Walter,

last Friday I found the manual in my letter box. Many thanks for your great
job. And for his fast work thanks to the printer too.

Walter

Hello Walter,
I have received the manual today.
Same exceptional quality as the WP-34S one. 8-)
The shipping to Canada was pretty fast this time, it took 6 days instead of 10 for the 34S.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Sylvain

RE: [WP 31S v1.2] Manual
Hi,

Got my copy and it looks great. I intend to hold up the 34S and 31S manuals at HHC2014, suggesting to the audience that they should consider these machines (and their docs) if they don't already have them. I bet Eric Rechlin could probably sell a few machines over that weekend.

Also, I still feel that an Android emulator would be very popular, if somebody has the expertise and the motivation. After all, the 20b/30b hardware will likely disappear soon.

That's Pascal's realm.

What makes you think that? Confused So far, there were only rumors and speculations (quite often), but I've never seen hard facts in that matter yet. :-?

Thanks Walter,

I received my manuals this evening (in California). They look very nice! I decided on 2 so I can leave one at work. Thanks for your hard work on the manual. Hope you did not lose too much money on them!

RE: [WP 31S v1.2] Manual
Hi Walter,

Have you received my payment?
It should have already got to your bank account two weeks ago.

I simply want to ask if you have sent the manuals to me?

Thanks.

Regards,
Ernst

One way is that at HP's U.S. web page for financial calculators here, only the 10bII+, 12C, 12C Platinum and 17bII+ are listed. This implies to me that whatever is in the retailers' pipeline or inventory is all there will be. Whether this lasts a short or long time is debatable - I'll agree with you there.

RE: [WP 31S v1.2] Manual
For unknown reasons, I've still got a few (!) spiral bound WP 31S manuals here. Well, one's for Pauli and one's for Tilman ... but beyond these there are some still. So if you want one under the terms listed in post #1, please speak up.

Am I on the list for one of those already? Would be great to get both manuals for my dad once the WP34s manual has been printed.

Cheers,
Harald

RE: [WP 31S v1.2] Manual
Sorry for digging out this old thread but I feel my posting is closely related.

(07-18-2014 05:57 PM)walter b Wrote:  The manual contains 143 pages full color, A5, spiral bound. It will look like this here (updated the picture):

If you look at the cover, specifically at the right most 31S calculator display, you can see a number which cannot be displayed on a 31S. The exponent is out of the range supported by decimal64.

Is this display borrowed from the 34S?
