Problem connecting HP 50g to Windows 8.1 PC

I can usually connect my 50g to Windows PC fine. start XSERV and run 50g Conn Kit. In fact, I had them connected 10 minutes ago.

Every time I try to connect now, my 50g says XSEND Error: Receive Error, and the PC says looking for calculator then a window pops up saying Copying $$$t, closes, and a pc error, no device detected.

Any ideas how I might get it connecting again?
