Computer Programming App
Are there any computer science/programming helper apps that you know of? Something like a HP 16c simulation, being able to quickly change from Hex to Dec to Bin, shift left/right, rotate etc?

Otherwise if the 16C is too expensive, the CASIO CM-100 is a pretty neat computer math calculator for what you need to do, lacking the 16C programmability but much cheaper.

I had assumed that being posted in the HP Prime group, then it would be known I meant an app for that calculator.

Yes, I would consider a CM-100, but I would need to know that it can be modded to accept a battery as well as its solar power.

My mistake, I’ve updated my initial post above.

The standard Windows calculator has a "Programmer" personality.
(Click on the representation to change the entry keyboard from Hex to Oct to Dec to Binary)

I have attached a screenshot.

OS X built-in calculator also has a programmer mode and RPN.

Also on macOS, PCalc (commercial product) has both RPN and "programmer" mode, screenshot attached.

The Prime has a built-in integer editor capable of base conversion and bit shifting. To access it, press [Shift] + [-].
