HP01 watch back removal tool in Europe
Hello, does anyone know of one of these for sale in Europe, or if the HP01 is compatible with other standard back removal tools for Rolex etc?
Thanks for your help. Suffolk |

You can 3D print one yourself (or let it print).

RE: HP01 watch back removal tool in Europe
Hello,
before I had the luck to find the original part (took some patience (years!) and was included with a non-working HP-01 that I found cheaply on eBay) I used a standard watch back opening tool. The kind that is included in cheap chinese watchmaker toolkits like this one: https://www.amazon.de/Eventronic-Uhrenwe...th=1&psc=1 It works perfectly well - for non HP watches also! - and the original part from HP offers no advantage at all. It is rather a collector's item then a tool in my eyes. Regards Max |

RE: HP01 watch back removal tool in Europe
The HP01 seems to have a screwed back.
This is the tool i have used to open several automatic watches for tuning their echappement spring for better accuracy. https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07X5KC...UTF8&psc=1 Tool quality is good and you have several sets of teeth adapted to several type of backs shapes. You can also put a thin rag on the back to protect it from accidental scratches from the tool teeth. |
