Solve app crashing HP Prime

I'm trying to solve the equations below using the Solve app on the Prime G2 (updated to latest version). This also causes a crash on the simulator.

E1: 2*(X+Y) = 54
E2: 2*(1/X + 1/Y)^-1 = 12

Crash occurs when I go to Solve Numeric View, and set X and Y to zero, then tap Solve. When I initially change these values to something other than zero, then solve, it sometimes manages to settle onto the correct values(?).

I'm assuming that the crash here is occurring because the value of X and Y are interchangeable for the above equations?

Is this a known issue?
