Hi!

I proudly present RACK42 - a small and powerful RPN spreadsheet application for the DM42 hardware.

Thanks in advance for any comment, suggestion or bug to make RACK42 faster, more versatile, stable and intuitive.
Particularly I'm planning to expand the mathematical power of RACK42 (ie conditions, probabilities, hyperbolics, logic, base) and improve the handling (ie copying cell ranges, fixed cell references, more graphic charts) - so I'm curious which features are needed most to build in.

I see that rows are 15 and columns 6. How did you get to those dimensions ?

To display a number with 'sufficient' precision (what is sufficient?) you need 8 or 9 digits. With an easy 'readable' (what is readable?) font you can display on the screen 3 numbers (cells) in a line.

The central part of the display (screen less status line less edit line less f-key line) allows 5 rows with this readable font.

And finally - as rack42 demands to be small and clear - the number of rows should be a low multiple of 3|5. So I tried the first version of rack42 with 6|15.

Hi!

I proudly present version 2 of RACK42 - the spreadsheet application (and more) for the DM42 hardware.

What started as an "experiment" became my favor DM42-application (even if there is IV42).

What's new:

• Big Math-Package (even Differential Equations can be solved) - see the examples section too
• Calculator Mode (for those who simple want to calculate without a spreadsheet)
• Text (File) Editor (with a "virtual" PC-keyboard)
• ASCII-art drawing program (copy and paste ASCII objects like rectangles or text)
• HP-35 (try or use an emulation of the legendary HP calculator)
• 2048-like game (spent some time with the first game for the DM42)

Deetee, you are right to be proud, this is very clever and I think it is also quite novel.

I wish this would get even more interest from forum, even though it does not look like a modernized version of a classic HP calculator (save for the HP-35 simili in this app).
