Storing Data and Programs

Since the calculator has a port for updating the firmware I was wondering is it possible to output data and programs to a computer or ideally to an external SSD or thumb drive for storage when you don't need them and then load them back into the calculator when you do?

I do a full backup to the connectivity kit every day when I am working on something or every now and then otherwise. The files can be individually taken from that later.

That's good to know. I've downloaded the Connectivity Kit user manual and will study it. It would be nice if programs could be stored on a portable storage device so that programs could be loaded or saved away from the PC.
