Any Chance of Remake / Upgrade?
This is ridiculous:
Scalper Priced What are odds HP could do a remake / upgrade of the 32 / 35s series? regards - RR |

RE: Any Chance of Remake / Upgrade?
I think no one with some brain would buy a 35S for more than 100 bucks.
OTOH I'd buy an 32S with a much better polarizer:-) (Assumed it's the polarizer which causes the low LCD contrast and narrow viewing angle on the 32S) -- Ray |

RE: Any Chance of Remake / Upgrade?
One reason the 35S pricing has skyrocketed is this calculator is one of the few RPN machines still approved for Professional Engineering exams (I think the only other one is the 33S, which no one likes for multiple good reasons) and there are books and preparatory courses one can take to study/prepare for the exam built using the HP-35S.
The other is that too many well-heeled but stupid HP collectors have far more money than brains. A perfect storm for greedy eBay sellers. Both factors lead to incredulous listings like this. It's sad.... --Bob Prosperi |

RE: Any Chance of Remake / Upgrade?
Some prices sellers charge for HP calculators is just ridiculous.

RE: Any Chance of Remake / Upgrade?
Given all the bugs present in the 35S, I off loaded all of mine many years ago.
I wouldn't purchase another unless it was minimally priced. Pauli |
