(32S) Determination of Dry Matter in small silage samples
An excerpt from Determination of Dry Matter in Small Silage Samples, Journal of the University of Wales Agricultural Society, 78, 101114 (1988)
INTRODUCTION AND METHODOLOGY A previous paper (Faithfull, 1997) indicated that a suitable method for dry matter determination in small silage cores had been developed; this paper describes that method. … … Calculation … the volume of aqueous distillate is reduced by the volume of acid. This is estimated according to the formula … Programmable calculator program A program has been devised to allow easy calculation using a HewlettPackard programmable calculator; this is shown in Figure 3. RE: (32S) Determination of Dry Matter in small silage samples
I really appreciate your posts of the use of HP calculators in published papers.
In this case however I noticed a few issues:
While the first three points are just a bit of annoyance, the last one on line 017 is really a bug. You might enter a value different from 10 for \(m\) in register M and it will not be taken into consideration. Here's a corrected and slightly optimised version of that program: Code: LBL W Example 10 STO M 7.5 STO V 10 STO T XEQ W 255.6542 References
