HP 15C CE key bounce

I recently received a free HP Programming Cable from HP Office Supply (hotline@royal.com, image below) and was able to update my HP-15C CE firmware to checksum "ChE--0A0Ah", "2024-06-03", "C 2008 hP". The key bounce problem is significantly improved! Regarding the calculator their HP-15C CE website currently says "sold out" and "no current plans to restock it". Getting the cable and instructions from them for my in-warranty unit involved sending 10 emails and receiving 7, from 6/28/24 to 9/24/24.

It is worth notice that the firmware update instructions include "Although the procedure has been tested and so far, no calculator has been bricked, MORAVIA Consulting spol. s r.o. is not responsible for any damage that happens to the calculator!"

The 15C CE was a limited production run. I've no idea how many were made. Based on the serial numbers I've seen I'd guess 20,000.
