HP Prime Touchscreen Unresponsive

I recently got a new Prime after I have my old one to a friend. Everything works fine, but my new one has a much less responsive touch screen, as if the polling rate and refresh rate is much lower (It's on the highest refresh rate setting). Is this a hardware problem, or could it be something related to the firmware/software that I can change?

For more context, the touchscreen on my old Prime felt like using a smartphone, while my new one has a noticeable delay between scrolling with my finger and it actually scrolling. My new one has the latest firmware and is the newest revision of the G2 (is says hardware version D on the about screen).
