EduCalc catalog #62

Does anyone have a pdf or link to the Educalc #62? I know there are CD/thumbdrives of literature available, but I just want to look at this one. It apparently had the most HP 48-related items of any edition. I am just curious what was listed.

Yes, pages 41 through 62 are all HP 48 Series.

Thank you! The 80's and early 90's were great years for calculator development, PDA's, and similar electronics. PC's, too for that matter. A lot of people today never experience that type of rapid progress in things like that. The closest thing today would be 3D printing, lasers, and small CNC machines, but they have a much narrower audience.

In the PPC Archive USB drive in Section 4, there are the slides from the HHC2017 HP Conference (in Nashville), which contains a presentation on EduCALC. A good bit of the slides consisted of statistics from the catalogs; and indeed, catalog #62 held the most number of HP-48-related items. Look here.

Interesting summary Jake, but it seems like the 48 must be missing from the list on the right, or did it appear so late (compared to EduCALC's run) that it was actually less than all items in this list?

Yes, it was because the HP-48 appeared too late for the catalogs. The initial catalog in which the HP-48 appeared was catalog number 48 (ironically), and the final EduCALC catalog was #75 in 1997. This was with the number of HP-48 items still approaching 100, so it probably would have remained in the catalog for several more years. Since the HP-49g appeared in 1999, one could expect the 48 to have been prominent at least until the early 2000s.
