CALCULATOR PROGRAM FOR ANALYZING CMOS CIRCUITS

This program was developed by Randy Conkling and Jim Davis, graduate
students at the Georgia Institute of Technology. It calculates the dc drain
current and the small-signal conductances and transconductances for a
MOSFET given the level 1 or level 2 SPICE model parameters and all terminal
voltages. The program allows the storage of three level 1 models and
two level 2 models. The minimum system requirements to use this program
are an HP-41CV or HP-41C with 4 memory modules.
     The operating procedure for the program is as follows.

  1. This program uses almost all the available memory in the calculator
      for program and data storage. Save all current programs in a machine
      readable form before proceeding further.
  2. Key in ‘'XEQ SIZE 100”.
  3. Delete all programs from memory.
  4. Put the calculator in ‘‘USER’’ mode.
  5. Load the program (847 lines).
  6. Assign “SPICE” to COS key.
  7. Key in “XEQ SPICE” to run program (or press COS key in USER
      mode).
  8. Program will respond with the following: (Exact sequence will cor-
      respond to the user responses to prompts.)

  9. Program then prompts user for data input.
 10. Program displays output, press ‘‘R/S’’ for more output.
 11. Voltages and current output for PMOS devices is displayed as abso-
       lute values.
