(41CX) Stopwatch Accuracy
An excerpt from The Analysis of the Stopwatch Accuracy in the Electronic Calculator HP-41 CX, YU ISSN 0352-2651, 1990, 9 pages
Abstract: The accuracy of the stop watch in the electronic calculator HP 41 CX (the older model in which were more chips on the electronic plate) is analysed. By the analysis it was found that it is necessary to control the time displayed on the stopwatch dial with the radio time signals every 20 minutes during the observation on the geoid stations to determine the geographical latitude. The rms error of the time of the stopwatch is in that case approximately ∓ 0.005 s. 1. Introduction … automatization was obtained using an electronic calculator Hewlett-Packard 41CX … … … it was observed that the stop watch HP 41CX calculator during a half hour work, has changes of the rate 2. Analysis of the stop watch accuracy … … the stop watch HP 41 CX was so arranged that the stop watch rate during the whole day was approximately equal to zero … … 3. Conclusion The accuracy of the stop watch installed in the electronic calculator HP 41CX … that the rms error of the stop watch in the HP 41CX were … … References … BEST! SlideRule |
