Threads with links attached but no link

I've seen a bunch of threads that say they have a picture or link attached but there is no link or picture. Does the forum drop the link after a certain time?

It shouldn't. Do you have specific cases?

For sure external links do go poof now and then.

Currently guests can not view attachments inline.
E.g. check my recent post in an incognito window.
Interestingly they can still see the thumbnail image.

There was un unplanned update to the underlying server which caused some possibly still unresolved issues, however a post saying there is an attachment but none actually there happens all the time as people forget, don't click the 2nd button required, removed to make room for newer ones, etc.

That said, please list any that find and they'll be checked, it's possible things are not back to 100% yet.

Some examples in the main forum now are the HP-97 thread and the 15C collectors edition. However, these seem to have died of "natural causes". ie: linked to something not out there anymore.

No, these were not dead links but threads that said see attached link or pic but showed no link or pic. Still looking. Now it's mano amano, me or the thread
