x50ng
My found hobby of refactoring old C code has claimed another victim: x49gp.

So here's x50ng

My main motivation was to rewrite/refactor the GUI to
  1. make it scalable (both the LCD display and the text on the keyboard)
  2. port it from obsolete gtk+-2 to gtk+-3 (today) and later gtk4

In line with x48ng and saturnng I also ported the command-line parameters to use getopt_long and introduced the use of lua to store options in a config.lua file.

There's also minor tweaks in assigned keys, etc. Nothing major.

All original capabilities of x49gp should remain fully functional, including newRPL and grayscale support.

Finally screenshots: [Image: screenshot.png?raw=true] [Image: screenshot-newRPL.png?raw=true]
and the man page : man 5 x50ng

RE: x50ng
THANKS...
Is there a NewRpl skin provided? The one I use is outdated.
But does it allow then drag & drop of newRPL program (for exemple with NotePad++) in the emulator ?

Passing the --newrpl option modify the keyboard labels displayed, otherwise the faceplate is the same.

I plan to have a 'paste' functionality but it's not there yet.
