HP Labor Day Calculator Sale
Someone inside HP discovered that they make (or at least sell) calculators just in time for a Labor Day (back to school) sale:

https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/vwa/access...alculators

Prime G2 is available for $ 183.99 (plus shipping) which is not a bad price these days...

Hello!

Our labor day is on first of may, so we don't get any special discounts now, but for a change Europe is actually cheaper than the US: The Calculator Store lists the Prime G2 for 143 Euro (160$), don't know if shipping is included because their new website still doesn't work on my Macintosh, and the cheapest online store in Germany has it for 119 Euro (133$) including shipping. Still too much for me because I already have the Prime "G1" and that's all the Prime I ever need.

Regards
Max

Here we get it for € 115,95 incl. tax. That's roughly US$127. Plus shipping.

You're completely right Max, my comment was completely wrong, even if you just consider US sellers. I guess it's clear I don't keep track of Prime purchase options...

It's interesting that the Prime shown in the Amazon listing is the original style with light blue legends, which has not been sold for about 7 years. But the quoted model number is for the current Rev D type so probably OK. Which makes the HP online price $60 too high. Good thing I won't be buying any more of these....

No problem at all, it's OK to mention, and even post links to, items listed there to foster discussion, point out odd or rare items or great deals, etc. The only real prohibition is posting links to items you are selling there as a means to attract more eyeballs.
