RE: TI-58C Clone
Hi,
I've created an ICSP connection on my ET-58. I had to cut the trace to pin 1 on the pcb and put a one K resistor between pin 1 and +3.3v. Since there's not enough room for a normal ICSP connector I've used a flat inline female connector an made an adapter cable to connect it to the programmers flatcable. Now I'm able to save/load the program memory (eeprom) of the ET-58. ( and I have to make the adapter cable a bit nicer Smile )

Kind regards,
Marc.

I must say again and again...
Congratulations !
A nice job!
That I will not be able to reproduce at the risk of either burning my calculator or drowning it under liters of solder.

For the cable I had the same "aesthetic" problem (cable for updating PX calculator firmware) that I solved with a small adapter.

RE: TI-58C Clone
Hi Pierre,

Thank you ! Whenever you are visiting the Netherlands I can make the ICSP connection for you if you want Smile
The only thing I still have to change is disabling the battery once the programmer is connected, now I remove the battery when I use the programmer.

( I can't see the image in your reply, it only shows '[Image: cable.jpg]')

Kind regards,
Marc.

Thanks for the offer but I don't travel much anymore...
But if one day you make a calculator clone I'll be interested!
