That's how I got my 48GX so cheap - waited until the 50 came out. But that was another lifetime ago. Does it still work that way??

I thought I had seen some websites reducing the price from £139;to £83 already - though on closer inspection that's £83 +VAT, so not much cheaper yet - but I now have one.

First impressions: Despite all the documentation saying it can download from a PC, I find that with the right cable it can download from Android too (but Android will create podcast directories etc too).

The trickiest operation is creating a .py file on the PC/phone, rather than a podcast, but if you have one it will download.
