G2 on latest firmware not taking input
I opened it up today, hit the On button, and no keyboard response after it turned on. It seems like it will accept a single button press of the On button, then allow input from a single button after that. For example, I can hit On 1 2 3 4 but all that will display is 1.
Turning it off and back on : Hit On to wake up the input, hit Shift, Hit On (now off) Hit On doesn't fix it. It also seems to be _any_ input (ie, the screen and thumb wheel get only a single response before freezing). The only button that appears to work all the time in this state is the On button. Hitting the reset on the back appears to have cleared it up. Anyone see this kind of behavior? |

RE: G2 on latest firmware not taking input
Every calculator occasionally gets itself into a strange state. You can do a simple restart of the Prime by holding down the ON button, pressing and releasing SYMB, then releasing ON. You won't lose any data by doing so.

It just feels like the Prime is much more prone to being in a weird state or behaving unpredictably than any other model I've had. I really want to like it, but I can't trust it. |
