I. PURPOSE AND CAPABILITIES

PROGRAM GLSQB IS A LEAST SQUARES PROGRAM DESIGNED TO SOLVE
THE LEAST SQUARES FIT FOR THE EQUATION Y = MX + B. THE
PROGRAM WAS WRITTEN FOR A TEXAS INSTRUMENTS PROGRAMMABLE
SR-52 CALCULATOR
EQUIPPED WITH A PC-100A PRINTER. THE
PROGRAM CALCULATES THE LEAST SQUARES SLOPE, INTERCEPT,
STANDARD DEVIATION OF THE SLOPE, AND STANDARD DEVIATION OF
THE INTERCEPT AND PRINTS THE RESULTS ON THE PRINTER.
